On Veterans Day we honor the men and women who served in our armed forces. It is a celebration to honor those brave patriots willing to serve and sacrifice for the good of our country. Established by an Act of Congress in 1938, the holiday was originally called Armistice Day and honored those that served in WWI. In 1954, Congress amended the Act and replaced Armistice with Veterans, as the U.S. had served in WWI, WWII and the Korean War. Today, it honors those that have served in all wars.
The SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment family is proud to salute the men and women of our armed forces who served our country and their families.
