SEAWORLD SHARES CONSERVATION MESSAGE WITH GIRL SCOUTS

by Staff

For the 8th Annual Girl Scout Cookie Kick Off, animal trainers shared SeaWorld’s conservation message with more than 1,200 Girl Scouts and their leaders during a special killer whale presentation at Shamu Stadium.

During the show, the scouts discovered how SeaWorld cares for animals and the efforts the park makes to help preserve the world we share. Highlighting the educational endeavor was a special performance from the park’s killer whales including its newest member: 3-month-old Makaio. Each scout also received a special rescue ambassador participation patch.

The cookie kick off is designed to get the scouts of the Girl Scouts of Citrus Council excited about scouting and the Girls Scout Cookie selling season.
