Members of the U.S. armed services, park guests and employees celebrated Flag Day today at SeaWorld in Orlando, San Antonio and San Diego, Busch Gardens in Tampa and Williamsburg, and Sesame Place.
Special military ceremonies and tributes, including a joint-services ceremony at SeaWorld San Antonio, took place during the day.
Supporting and honoring the men and women of the U.S. armed services always has been important to our parks. Today's festivities were in addition to daily recognition our military heroes receive before the beginning of each “One Ocean” killer whale show.
Military personnel and park employees also distributed thousands of American flags to park guests as they entered.
We also partner with Anheuser-Busch for the Here’s to the Heroes program at all parks except in California.* The program provides free admission to any one of the SeaWorld and Busch Gardens parks, Sesame Place, Adventure Island or Water Country USA for U.S. service members and the armed forces of U.S. allies. Direct dependents also get free admission.
* Here’s to the Heroes is sponsored by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment at Sesame Place and SeaWorld San Diego.
