Sea Rescue returns this Saturday, April 5 with new host Matt Gutman and a special episode commemorating SeaWorld’s 50th Anniversary.
SeaWorld has helped more than 23,000 whales, dolphins, sea lions, penguins, manatees, sea turtles and birds over the last 50 years. This special episode looks back on some of the most inspiring sea rescues during this time, including the amazing tale of JJ the Whale and the heartwarming saga of Little Joe the Manatee.
The Wildlife Docs also returns this weekend to take viewers behind the scenes with an elite team of veterinarians, technicians and trainers as they care for the more than 12,000 exotic animals that live in Busch Gardens Tampa.
This week you will go behind the scenes with the five Asian elephants that reside at the park; watch as animal care specialists train three hippos behaviors to help the Wildlife Docs give checkups; and visit with a baby rhino and its mother on the park’s Serengeti Plain.
Sea Rescue and The Wildlife Docs air nationally on ABC on Saturday mornings during the Litton’s Weekend Adventure block and are among the most popular Saturday morning shows. They are part of the #1 rated block on Saturday mornings and are consistently rated #1 in the top ten U.S. markets including the four largest: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Philadelphia.
