Support the cause at a special event at Busch Gardens on Oct. 27
Busch Gardens will welcome guests to a special fundraising event on Oct. 27 hosted by Olivia Newton-John and H. Lee Moffitt, founder of the Tampa Moffitt Cancer Center. The two have joined forces to create awareness for breast and prostate cancers with the unique Pink and Blue for Two campaign.
Newton-John, a 17-year breast cancer thriver, will perform, joined by Eric Darius, Billboard-chart topping contemporary jazz artist.
Tickets to the event are $75, and include a top-shelf open bar, hors d’oeuvres and the unique chance to meet Newton-John and support an important cause. Tickets are available at www.pb42.com
Pink and Blue For Two launched last year with a fundraiser in Miami. The campaign is dedicated to raising awareness of the strikingly similar statistics between breast and prostate cancers. The goal is to urge couples to remind one another to go to their respective doctors for screenings.
“I am truly honored to join Olivia in promoting PB42. She understands the incredible impact that research has on curing cancer,” says H. Lee Moffitt. As speaker of the Florida House of Representatives, Moffitt pushed through legislation that created the Cancer Center, which opened its doors in 1986.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to the Moffitt Cancer Center and to the ONJCWC (Olivia Newton-John’s soon to be built Cancer and Wellness Center in Melbourne, Australia).
