Barbecue cook-off heads to SeaWorld San Antonio

Sick Manatees Rescued From Canal

SATELLITE BEACH -- Florida Fish and Wildlife biologists have rescued the second of two sick manatees from a canal where up to 100 of the sea cows have gathered for warmth during the cold snap.

The sick manatee was taken away by a SeaWorld team, who said they will nurse it back to health and later release it back into the wild.

SeaWorld San Antonio will be the site of the 14th annual San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Barbecue Cook-off and Concert Jan. 30.

The annual event featuring more than 200 barbecue teams is a fund raiser for the rodeo's scholarship fund.
