Since welcoming its first dolphin calf in 2000, Discovery Cove in Orlando has been fortunate enough to experience it’s own baby boom.
And each one of the 20 calves born is special!

Dolphins are pregnant for 12 months and at Discovery Cove, mom gets a monthly checkup from one of our veterinarians. They monitor mom’s progress and conduct voluntary ultrasounds that allow the dolphin doctors to observe the baby’s growth.

Hello,
I'm French and I am very interested in your webcam in the basin of the Orcas. I noticed that currently there are dolphins, not whales. I learned that it was due for reconstruction Basin dolphins and pilot whales, but I want to know the approximate date of delivery of the basin in their killer whales because we are many fans love your orcas and we miss her .
Thank you for your attention.
My sincere greeting.
Here are some people who supported me in writing this letter:
-Ulises, a fan of your beautiful male orca.
- Kaygo fan of all whales.
-Wikie fan of the little female of Marineland Antibes in France.
-Kalia fan of your small and beautiful female.
-Clementiine fan of the perfect male SUMAR.
And I am a fan of your splendid Orkid orca female.

i dont think dolphins held captive is right....it stresses dolphins out and you are only torturing them...poor animals...all you guys want is money...stop injecting them ..they only want to be free in the wild..

Your blog entries informing and educating the public always include information that I haven't read before.
My question is, is Sea World (at this time) the largest outdoor aquatic tank housed family of dolphins in the U.S., or is the largest number of dolphins at the nation's dolphin prototype, (performing at the old round stadium), in Marineland?

They both look so nice together. I can't wait until the week of May 8,2010 because I will be coming to Orlando Florida with my family for our yearly family vacation. We will all get to spend time at Sea World and Bush Gardens while we are there in Orlando.
