SeaWorld's animal trainers are committed to providing all of the animals in our care with daily enrichment, exercise, husbandry, play and interaction with other animals as a critical component of their health and well being.  Tilikum is no exception.

Jordin Sparks, winner of the sixth season of American Idol, visited Busch Gardens Tampa Bay over the weekend with her cousins and family to ride roller coasters and hand-feed giraffes on the park's 65-acre Serengeti Plain.

In response to a question during the February 26 press conference, SeaWorld informed the media that Tilikum would return to shows.  That remains our plan, but a final decision will come only after we complete the thorough review of the procedures that guide our interaction with killer whales.  Training, whether for husbandry, veterinary care, fitness, enrichment or shows, is a critical feature of animal health.
