Spring is in the air. Flowers are blooming, the grass is turning green and Discovery Cove is welcoming a new baby dolphin to the family. Thelma, an Atlantic bottlenose dolphin at the park, gave birth to a baby dolphin Tuesday, April 20. This is the 22nd dolphin born at Discovery Cove since the park opened in 2000.

We love all the SeaWorld photos that have been submitted to our Web site and posted on our Facebook fan pages. We're now taking that to a new level.

An Atlantic Bottlenose dolphin calf at SeaWorld San Diego needs a name.Born at SeaWorld last year, this future star of the park's “Blue Horizons” dolphin show is looking for your help in choosing her name.

Today in memory of Dawn we are doing a tribute to her before the first Believe show at each of our three SeaWorld parks. This has been an extremely difficult time for the entire Shamu family. We believe that Dawn would want our work with these whales, that she loved so much, to continue. So with that in mind, we dedicate our shows this weekend to our dear friend.
