Busch Gardens Team Members and Friends Run for Wildlife

On Saturday, November 13, Busch Gardens employees teamed up with their friends and family for the Second Annual 5K Run 4 Wildlife. The 202 participants raised more than $2,000 for the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund.

SeaWorld and Busch Gardens Animal Ambassadors to Appear on TWC

Tune into The Weather Channel on Thursday evening from 7-10 p.m. Meterologists on "WeatherCenter" will get up close and personal with animals from both SeaWorld and BuschGardens , and learn about the interesting ways that they adapt to cold weather.

Park Goers Honor SeaWorld Parks with “Friendliest Theme Park Crowds” Award

SeaWorld Parks were voted by readers as having the “Friendliest Theme Park Crowds.” The parks’ peaceful, relaxing environment and lack of constant crushing crowds creates a calmer more relaxing experience for park guests.

Top parks throughout the United States were included in the online pole, making for fierce competition. However, with 56% of the votes, SeaWorld easily walked away with the top honor. The runner up only received 11% of the votes.

SeaWorld San Diego Mourns Loss of Killer Whale

It is with great sadness that SeaWorld San Diego announces that Sumar, a 12-year-old male killer whale, died at approximately 1:45 p.m. today (Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010). The exact cause of death will not be known until the results of a necropsy are complete. The entire SeaWorld team is mourning his the loss.
