The animals in Busch Gardens’ Edge of Africa enjoyed carved pumpkins during the week leading up to Halloween.

Different treats that appeal to each animal were placed inside the gourds. Lions and hyenas were tempted by meat. Ring-tailed lemurs sought grapes, while meerkats were after mealworms. Hippos love fruit, but Kita enjoyed playing with the buoyant pumpkin for a few minutes before smashing it and eating it.

Halloween meets the sea during SeaWorld's Halloween Spooktacular, featuring an underwater "fantasea" where children can trick-or-treat and the whole family can meet charming and slightly kooky aquatic-themed characters.

The end of October is nearing and the season for spooky is upon us. Halloween is one of our favorite holidays here at Worlds of Discovery.
