MEET THE CAST: CHRISTMAS ON ICE

With such stunning features as spinning, jumping, ice and giant bows, Christmas on Ice is stuck in my mind. Busch Gardens’ Christmas on Ice returns to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay for the 2010 holiday season, and this is truly a show not to miss.

It's been a couple of weeks since our last construction update on Cheetah Hunt at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.  Curious how it's going? Well, let us take you on yet another visual sneak peek.

Imagine, if you will, that you're opening the gate of the big, yellow construction wall surrounding the site. Creeeak....(Yes, that's the sound of the gate opening.)

This past August, my 14-year-old daughter Claire asked if we could enter an essay contest that Quark Expeditions and SeaWorld were sponsoring.

The grand prize?

A groundbreaking theatrical, acrobatic and musical adventure is coming to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay this winter for a limited engagement.  

Hip-hop legend and reality TV star Joseph 'Rev Run' Simmons' birthday is Today, November 14. 

SeaWorld and Busch Gardens animal ambassadors are veteran TV guests, and they'll be working hard this Veteran's Day.   The team takes a visit to the CNN Newsroom with a Peregrine falcon, a red fox and a pair of baby sheep from Busch Gardens Williamsburg

SeaWorld Parks were voted by BehindtheThrills.com readers as having the “Friendliest Theme Park Crowds.”  The parks’ peaceful, relaxing environment and lack of constant crushing crowds creates a calmer more relaxing experience for park guests. 

Top parks throughout the United States were included in the online pole, making for fierce competition.  However, with 56% of the votes, SeaWorld easily walked away with the top honor.  The runner up only received 11% of the votes. 

When the sun goes down, some of the animals at Busch Gardens heat up. Nocturnal animals in the Edge of Africa and on the Serengeti Plain, including lions, hippos and rhinos, are more playful, more active, more exciting to watch after the heat of the day.

Today, SeaWorld Orlando became a virtual classroom as more than 157,000 students from more than 3,500 schools from across the nation interacted with a National Geographic filmmaker and a SeaWorld shark expert. The live webcast and Q-and-A session took place in front of a backdrop of dozens of sharks at the park’s Shark Encounter attraction.
