On Saturday, November 13, Busch Gardens employees teamed up with their friends and family for the Second Annual 5K Run 4 Wildlife. The 202 participants raised more than $2,000 for the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund.

SeaWorld Picks Up More Than 500 Pounds of Trash From Beaches Coast To Coast

During the recent International Coastal Cleanup, hundreds of volunteers from SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment joined together to pick up more than 500 pounds of trash from beaches and waterways across the U.S.

In Florida, SeaWorld Orlando volunteers combed the Canaveral National Seashore and local canals.

In California, SeaWorld San Diego volunteers picked up trash along Mission Bay.

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment Clean Up Beaches

During the International Coastal Cleanup this Saturday, Sept. 25, hundreds of employees from the 10 parks of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment will join volunteers from around the world to tackle one of the most pervasive pollution problems threatening the world’s oceans, lakes and rivers: trash.

Park cleanup events are planned in Florida, Virginia, Texas and California.

Employee Profile: Dr. Lara Croft

For young women looking to get into the field of veterinary science or marine biology, Dr. Lara Croft is an inspiration. Here's a little bit of informaiton on her background and some great photos of her doing some amazing work at SeaWorld.

Dr. Croft is one of three SeaWorld Orlando staff veterinarians.  In this capacity, Dr. Croft maintains the health of the park's animals, including killer whales, dolphins, sea lions, seals, birds, fish, and turtles.

Employee Spotlight: Mike Boos, VP of Zoological Operations, Busch Gardens Tampa

Mike Boos has been named vice president of zoological operations at Busch Gardens, the top zoological position at the Tampa park. Boos, 43, replaces Glenn Young, who retired at the end of June.
