Clearing the Park

There is a lot of work that goes into clearing the park after a snowstorm. With more than 350 acres, there is a lot of ground to clean for our guests to ensure their safety. While we do our best to clear the park for our guests, sometimes it can take a bit longer than planned. Huge volumes of snow covering the park as well as overnight freezing caused treacherous pathways throughout the park. These past few days we have recruited more than 200 Team Members to help remove the snow.

Close Calls

Nobody hates to close Busch Gardens more than we do.  Trust me.  It’s the job of the Marketing team to generate attendance, and we can do that only when the doors are open.So why do we decide to close the park on scheduled operating days?  Why do we temporarily close on busy days?  And why can’t we easily add days to the schedule?  This week’s big snowstorm is causing us to deal with all these questions.

SeaWorld Orlando:

Common Wolf Misconceptions

I was able to think about the questions about wolves we most frequently are asked and it made me realize, there are a lot of misconceptions. Some of you probably know a great deal about wolves and some of you might just think you know. During this revelation, it also occurred to me that one of the most important things I do is to move others to feel as passionate about animals and conservation as I do. And if there are many misunderstandings about our animals, then I’m not doing my job.

Congratulations! It’s a _____!
