Summer Nights features an awesome fireworks and fountain show, and sure it takes a lot of carefully planned work to make the "oohs" and "awes" happen. Enter Marty Steinke. With 25 years of experience, we are proud to call Marty the manager of pyrotechnic operations for our parks.

Another great Praise Wave is in the books. More than 11 artists performed over 2 days at SeaWorld San Antonio. This Christian music festival is a personal favorite since I listen to most of the artists regularly on K-LOVE and Star AM 810.

We just recently finished our week of Spring Break here at SeaWorld San Antonio and it was wonderful! So many members of our armed forces have taken advantage of our Here's to the Heroes program and honored us with a visit under this special offer.  The program provides a single day’s free admission to any one of our SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment locations for the service member and as many as three of his or her direct dependents.

Every September, Ocean Conservancy sponsors an International Coastal Cleanup in more than 75 countries. Busch Gardens has been participating in this event for several years and we were eager to lend a hand this September … then the rains came. Our original cleanup date was canceled due to weather and the rain date was set for October 16.

As a new PR Representative for SeaWorld San Antonio, I had the opportunity to attend the Austin media tour this past week. The purpose of this media tour was to promote SeaWorld San Antonio's Howl-O-Scream attractions and especially College Nights. It was my first business trip, let alone media tour, so I was not sure what to expect. To sum it up, it was one of the best learning experiences I have ever had.
